ASCODOCPSY - Réseau Documentaire en Santé Mentale
Created on the initiative of archivists, the development of the GIP Ascodocpsy documentation network was undertaken in 2000 by the Association des Établissements Participants au Service Public de Santé Mentale (ADESM), and the Association des Psychiatres Présidents et Vice-Présidents des Commissions Médicales d'Établissements des Centres Hospitaliers. It includes 85 private and public health establishments and associations specialized in the field of mental health. It is available in French only.
Health Canada Drug Product Database
This bilingual Canadian database allows you to conduct searches by product name, company or drug identification number (DIN). You can also look up current or discontinued products; obtain lists of products made by the different pharmaceutical companies; and find general information about drugs.
The DPD contains specific information about drugs sold in Canada and features information on 23000 products. Administered by the Therapeutic Products Directorate, this database provides information on disinfectants and consumer products for both humans and animals.

Created on the initiative of the Direction Générale de la Santé and managed by the École Nationale de la Santé Publique, the BDSP is a network of organizations that has been developing online information services for health and social service professionals since 1993. It is available in French only.
LactMed: Drugs and Lactation Database
This database contains information about drugs that lactating mothers are exposed to. It informs lactating mothers about amounts of medication found in their milk and bloodstream as well as the health risks on babies who are nursed on breast milk.

ORPHANET – The Portal for Rare Diseases and Orphan Drugs
ORPHANET is an online multilingual public information database on rare diseases and orphan drugs.
You can conduct a search by disease name or you can browse its index. The Orphan Drugs section lists the drugs that have been statused as orphan drugs in Europe, Australia, Japan and the US. You can also find drugs for rare diseases that have received a hospital preparation status, an orphan designation, or a national or European marketing authorization. You can conduct a search or consult the list of drugs or active substances by selecting the drugs option in the Service for Professionals section.
Available only in French, the Santécom network was created by the Institut National de Santé Publique du Québec in 2003 for a group of Quebec public health information resource centres that use a shared information management software which feeds a common bibliographical database.
The objective is to: to make the many collections of different information resource centres accessible via a single web site; offer online services to the stakeholders of these centres; and deliver a wide collection of online resources to the public health sector.
